Largest cell phone operator in Brazil, with 27% market share. Competes with America Movil's Claro. Vivo used a CDMA network and was losing share to competitors who had GSM networks. Now their phones run both technologies. Unprofitable in 2006, but free cash flow positive. Achieved profitability in Q3 of this year. 18 trailing p.e., their growth rate is at least twice that. Decreased their debt by 28% over the last year.
