I agree and own this in real life but don't understand how you expect the total market index (including costs) to outperform the S &P in Caps. I guess you are saying that you are bullish on mid cap and small cap stocks (as opposed to S&P) which begs the question: Wouldn't it be easier to just pick VXF or a combination of VO and VB?
