As availability improves, consumers are going to flock to the higher quality FiOS service and abandon cable companies. Better quality for the same (or even lower!) price? Sounds like a winning strategy to me!

This is one of my slow but steady workers. I feel that with the wireless network only growing with broadband and with more people getting on the wireless bandwagon, this company will only grow on the wireless side of the business. As for the landline...

I think Verizon's fiber to the home network is going to give them a significant advantage over other data/voice/TV providers. The bandwidth on this infrastructure can be upgraded almost endlessly without any major changes to the fiber lines itself. ...
