Nice long term stock with good dividend of approx. 6.5%. Very good stable historical price pattern - generally increasing for past 10 years. This is an Australian bank, unlikely to be impacted much by financial woes in the States. A good buy point as it has dropped nearly 50% from its all time high last year - I believe the recent drop is caused by Westpac bidding to buy another bank for 16 Billion.
