I have to admit that, like some of the other commentaries, I made a couple of homebuilder picks based on Floridabuilder's analysis. However, I would like to highly recommend that anyone managing their own portfolio never, ever, invest their real money without doing their own homework. It seems to me that every poor performer, that I have ever bought, was somewhat influenced by someone else's recommendation. Every great performer I have owned was bought when no one was talking about it.
