I like to eat at Wendy's. if I could, i would buy this chain. Why? Because i like to eat at Wendy's. When i go into Wendy's to eat, do you know what i see? Other people that like to eat at Wendy's.

Do you know where else i like to eat? Arby's. It's expensive, but the coupons in the paper monthly rock. Arby's has the best buffalo chicken strips...if you buy them with a coupon, they're like a $1.99.

All these two places need, are face-lifts, a good old-fashioned cleaning.... and expense management/cost-cutting help (let's face it, Arby's is expensive) Both store chains are gross. Clean them, update them, cut expenses, and they will come. If they don't come, they could be a target for companies like BH. Biglari has a knack for turning over-priced dirty chains with good food into money making machines. Cut the expenses... and clean the places up for crying out loud.

If i haven't been clear - Wendy's and Arby's CLEAN YOUR LOCATIONS. People like your food - that's why you're still in business. but no one wants to eat in filth. First impressions - you SUCK at them.

lol Love your comments Drew.

Right to the point and no "p#ssy footing" around.

BTW I like to eat in them too.

Luckily the ones in my area are kept pretty clean.

Just as an aside, when I was in banking, a long time ago, I financed a business for the first employee Dave Thomas ever had. He had some great stories about their early days.

Will check out their current financial picture to see if I want to put money in them.

I had to put a # in because apparently the system didn't like my choice of words. I guess they don't like cats.

Teacherman1:

Thanks for the support on Wendy's. we are now an army of two. I'm jealous your locations are clean, and overwhelmingly excited that they may have this figured out moving forward. the future is looking bright, and clean (hopefully).

I was eating Arby's last night - coupons came out again - and they introduced a new rewards card. I love them a little more now.

Dave Thomas was a orphan and learned his trade working for Colonal Sanders. Dave worked his butt off to launch and manage the first restaurants. There is a book written by Dave about his life. I love Wendy's food and it is my favorite fast food.
The burgers are made freshly and NOT microwaved like mcd and bk. The chili and baked potato is rare at fast food restaurants. Fresh, never frozen. Expanding internationally, remodel project, and extended variety including the Redhead Brand coffee etc...(fresh baked goods (maybe from the Tim Horton days) and other new items)
I like $7.50 soon with buyout offer via YUM type at $10, if not you will see Dave days again in the $20's.
Great investment here if you can wait and be patient.
