This account is an experiment to see if good customer service reviews on www.yelp.com for public companies which have locations in or near Vista, California (my hometown) will lead to market-trouncing results. Any business that gets a 2.6-5 star rating will get a green thumb, and any business that gets a 0-2.5 rating will get a red thumb. For businesses with multiple locations in Vista, I will take the average of all of those location’s ratings. This isn’t intended to be exhaustive…I’ll probably only rate 100 tickers at absolute max – this is simply intended to be an experiment. It’s a flawed one, I know, but hey I might as well have some fun here. :)Currently, the 7 closest McDonald's in and around Vista have an average 3.28 star rating on Yelp, thus this company gets a green thumb.
It's so flawed its pointless. So if yelp rates it well the stock price has no matter in wether its a good time to grab it? And comparing wendies over McDonald's business wise is deadly funny
