Well managed bank. Much less exposure to the credit crisis. At these levels - good dividend yield.

Best US banks period. Good 3.5% dividends, should take market share over the next couple of years. Still focus on california which is not a manufacturing based economy like the suffering midwest.

This is a well run bank. They might have a short term rough road, but I think the majority of the subprime mess they will get by relatively unscathed. I think think the price is pretty good right now.

WFC is much more insulated from the subprime meltdown, due to stricter lending standards and higher cash reserves. WFC is taking the cautious path in writing down its losses early, but will weather the storm and come out in much better position.
