Yes, they do. I made the mistake of making a quick stop at Walmart a while back. It was next to the Home Depot I had visited, and I thought "it's right here, why burn gas going somewhere else". I asked the employee at the door where something was. She said "over there" (without getting up). I couldn't find it, so I asked another employee. She said "over there" (same place). I said "I just went up and down those aisles, they aren't there." She said "they have to be" and walked off. No help.

Then I remembered one of the reasons why I hate this store. (The other reason is quality, which I remembered instantly when I saw the merchandise on the shelves while I was trying to find what I needed.)

I am glad that Wal-Mart completely failed in Germany.

That's what's great about this country. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is a little different. Wal-Mart is only offering what obviously millions of consumers want...Good Value. They are a highly competitive company who have helped keep the price of most consumer products in the reach of millions of people who can't afford to pay high prices for products just to keep small towns isolated from the world. It's great that you can afford to pay higher prices based on your principles. Many others cannot do that. They have also brought thousands of jobs and other business opportunities to areas that had little choice in what products they were offered. Maybe they don't pay high wages but they are jobs with competitive wages and they are here, not overseas. The world is a changing place and I don't begrudge Wal-Mart for being a part of that. Sam Walton was a genius.

People shop where they can afford it, I am not going to go to CVS, or RAD and pay 2.00 more for vitamins, same as our local pharmacys, the supercenters save people money, I realize the buying of properties etc, but if you think back years ago, the supermarkets did the same things with having in store bakeries and floral depts, forcing small bakeries and floral shops to close, also supermarkets started pharmacies also,these are now the companies who are against Walmart, for what they did in the past, nobody thinks of that!! everything is affecting consumers now, and the corporations are doing it, what money I have left gets invested, win or lose. The Kmarts, the old Gee Bees, Murphy Marts-Ames- Hills -Target all did the same thing.

I still am bullish on Walmart, its sad america has been taken over by corporations, we can only fight back or write to government, I have done that again and again, I support the negative views, but their are also postives, I just paid 900.00 for propane delivery it used to be 1.30 a gallon, they are all making money and we pay for it, the only way we can make any profits is investing in stocks, I learned my lesson with Mutual funds back in the 90's. I use the drip plan for Walmart and I hope the stock splits.

I could go to the stock Amerigas and complain, I also had to pay a delivery charge of 150.00 which i did a report to the Attorney General, if people don't complain nothing will be done, Do I expect to get my $ 150.00 back, no way, the corporation will use their legal jargon to get out of it and the govt will support their decision, I can get back to you on that when it happens, but that is not going to stop investors from buying stock. If we little people can make a profit on the corportions why not, we are getting clipped everyday!!! People do not check their grocery store receipts, most do not take items back that do not work, or any OTC drug that gives them headaches or stomach aches or do not work, I never did before and now i watch like a hawk now, and I return the items. I wish the trade would stop with China, that would force Walmart to make their own brands in the US, and other companies. But I doubt any of that will happen, maybe after the elections, who knows. Rock and a hard place. I cannot find Wrangler Jeans anywhere in PA
