XCO grows through acq., something that management uses to great advantage. The CEO has historically created great value to stockholders. Management holds large stakes, as well as employees combined. Boone Pickens is the largest shareholder, as of this writing I believe, followed by institutions (JP Morgan), and upper management. 99% of revenue is derived from gas, prices being at historical highs. Company plans on continuing to expand into Appalachia. Company could easily be bought out at a premium sometime in the next 3 years or taken private, whatever works. All that is just speculation, however.
Disclaimer: I am both an employee of this company and a stock holder.
My question is : are u doing any shutdown of production at this low level of gas price (Like CHK) ??I know u' re quite hedged, but not fully.....
Wish I could answer your question, but all I can say is wait and see. A lot of what's going down in the next few months to a year will be determined by how quickly we can get things done and if oil prices continue to stay down. But I really can't say what's going on. Darn insider information...I think.
Sorry
