Headed for the basement......the latest joke that played was when they said consumers could purchase a plan from both Sirius and XM for $16. People don't even want to by XM at $10 a month why would you pay more to get the 2 of them. What a joke.

I'm agnostic long-term between the players, so you'll see the same pitch for both Sirius and XM. I've subscribed to XM since late 2003 and I would never go back to terrestrial radio. Terrestrial radio can't compete with zero commercials, they can't...

I believe in satellite radio, but not the way XM is going about it. The company keeps signing up new subscribers, but the growth rate is bound to slow down once people begin to realize that XM is increasingly offering what you can already get on terr...

Movement of car makers towards MP3 player integration and music servers on their car audio system as an option. Who needs radio when they have all the music they need on a hard drive.Very short current ratio. Will need infusions of capital that'l...

XMSR is the stronger of the two (XMSR & SIRI),with its broader portfolio of auto OEM's in a weakretail market. If the merger doesn't get approved,XMSR will be better able to survive. It's a win-win.

Sirius has made great strides in catching up with XM?s early start. I think this stock will under perform for a long time. I also thing that XM and Sirius will eventually merge or get bought up by some larger media company.

I think it's a buy and hold....for a long time. Even if the segment consolidates, I think that XM will end up on top due to lower cost in signing up new subscribers vs Sirius. I don't think XM will just disappear (7 million subscribers) and at this...

I hate cash-burn and both SIRI and XMSR are very good at it. It is shareholder-wealth destruction. Sales without profits are worthless. Product is technically cool, but the stock is not.

Insufficient content to convince customers of compelling need to pay for something they're used to getting for free. Has to compete with HD-radio and iPods. Customer growth will be reduced due to poor renewals of free trial subscriptions from new c...

Satellite radio is in its infancy. The growth rate is fantastic. Management for both SIRI and XM are now more focused on cost cutting. All new autos come satellite radio ready. I know its not the popular pick right now, but to paraphrase Buffet, ...
