I hate cash-burn and both SIRI and XMSR are very good at it. It is shareholder-wealth destruction. Sales without profits are worthless. Product is technically cool, but the stock is not.

Insufficient content to convince customers of compelling need to pay for something they're used to getting for free. Has to compete with HD-radio and iPods. Customer growth will be reduced due to poor renewals of free trial subscriptions from new c...

High customer turnover, high dependence on flailing auto sales and a softening consumer market make this rather less-than-necessary product even weaker. Coupled with overall consuerm maliase, I see it at $8 by March 1 and $6 by August.

When I think of XM Satellite Radio I think of "how are these guys still in business?" Whether or not a merger between them and Sirius occurs, XM has very little chance to turn a profit. Although their financials are no where near as horrid as Sirius,...

XM radio's customer accuisition costs seem to be very high in comparison to the incoming revenue each customer generates. Their debts continue to rise, and their equity value continues fo fall.

If the merger succeeds, this company goes away. If the merger does not succeed, this company goes away. Perhaps I should pull my money out, but I'm betting on the merger succeeding.

Howard and crew over at Sirius Satellite Radio will continue to erode the new subs at XM leading to a continued decline in stock price. If XM is lucky they will be bought out at a premium to the rockbottom price at which their stock is then selling.
