This stock might have been one you held forever but I think this is going to change soon. Although they are currently achieving record breaking quarter I think it will end soon. Electric vehicles are starting to pick up and once they build real momentum this stock will lose momentum. Sell soon, this stock will be low in 5 years.
If you think electric vehicles are in the near term a practical solution to transportation I think you are shooting at pie in the sky. The battery has been and in the near to far future is the problem not light enough not powerful enough can't go far enough to long to refuel they are just not practical.
I picked up some xom calls yesterday. I think they are still a buy. Hopefully some short term profits.
Don't forget, XOM supplies the nat gas that turns the turbines which makes a electric car go.
Most people In the world cannot afford electric cars. As oil and gas production ramps up, gas and gasoline will stabilize at lower prices.
