+ Watch XPO
on My Watchlist
The Company and its subsidiaries provide transportation and logistics services in the United States and portions of Canada. It operates through two segments, Express-1 and Evansville.
I'm approaching this one from a very rare almost purely technical perspective. I'm seeing everything I would normally look for in my favorite indicators including a ridiculously overbought condition, a dramatic deviation outside the norm and plenty of gaps highly in need of being closed. Also, their cupping chart pattern, visible on the 3-year chart places the move as complete based on old school p&f at $2.28 accoridng to my figures, so it's more than done.I just don't see why this wouldn't have moved on their earnings report but chose to move weeks later. This leads me to believe that traders have been in and out of this stock and it will be just a matter of time before it's out of favor again. XPO isn't a bad company, but at 14 times forward earnings and rising oil prices I can't say it's my favorite trucking company by any means. I'm looking for a reasonable retracement to $2, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it dip all the way back to $1.50.UltraLong
