The story here is not the American market, which is saturated with Taco Bell/KFC/Pizza Hut outlets.

And it's not E.coli - that's just a blip - nor is zero trans fats, the average Taco Bell eater doesn't care.

Yum Foods are the dominant fast food in China. As China goes so goes Yum Foods. It appears that KFC and Pizza Hut are very popular so much so that a new store is being built a day in China.

They took a bit of flak /w the rat problem, but it's a fairly isolated incident.





KFC seems to be doing very well in China, actually outpacing McDonalds. Not sure why, but I guess greesy breaded foods are popular /w the Chinese.
