I understand what you are saying.... However, think if it a little more scientifically rather than religious. I come from the Permian Basin area of Texas. A "basin" is a depression in the strata of the Earth's layers. The Permian Basin is one of the richest oil and gas deposits in the US.

Israel is sitting on one of the lowest areas on the planet (the Dead Sea is the lowest place on land). Now I am not saying they are right, but it does beg for further investigation.
