I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong. I’m going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this. – Steve Jobs

If Steve Jobs did not die, I would likely have asked him, if I even got a chance to meet him in person, to spend $40 billion to delete the spinning cycle on the upper left hand side of all mobile Apple products before the world ends in thermonuclear war. Fool on...

For me, a bet on Apple is a bet on the Millennial mega trend. I can truly attest to the fact that Millennials love their Apple gadgets. You really cannot go to events with Millennials without seeing at least 10 percent of the population looking at FaceBook with their iPhones. Luckily for us, we can profit off this trend! In addition to their highly-addictive phones, Apple is also willing to sell us beautiful, high-quality laptops and desktops that consistently receive high marks by everyone. Never mind that Apple has a pipeline that I'm sure is heavily contemplating its best foot forward into the body-diagnostics industry and you have a company that is poised to keep the good times rolling. Is it weird if I own Apple stock before an Apple gadget? Who cares. Long Term.

To much expanded in the short time. Some reversion is in. In the long term growth will definitely slow.

What can we say? Innovation is still leading apple to increased market share and in a variety of gadgets, I-tunes, I-phone, I-pay, PC's.Steven Jobs developed the company with an excellent innovative culture.

If I had to own only two stocks in my portfolio, AAPL would be the second one (and Visa would be the first). Despite their fantastic run up over the past 10 years, they still sit on a mountain of cash which they are increasingly returning to shareholders in the form of stock buy-backs and increased dividends. And somehow, they continue to grow sales of their flagship products. Even though I suspect the current version of the new iWatch will be a flop, their dominance with the iPhone doesn't appear to be waning. I'm holding onto my AAPL stock for now and would probably buy more any time I see their P/E dip back into single digits.

They keep on putting out really cool devices, and will continue to do so under Tim Cook's leadership. I have a MacBook from 2007, an iPhone 5 and an iPod (3rd generation). I like all of these products a lot, and so do millions of others all around the world. Apple will continue that innovation for years to come.

In spite of slower releases and smaller jumps in technology, Apple still has a huge market following due to customer service and quality products. I was thinking my next upgrade was going to be an HTC but now I'm not sure. Night have to go iP6 and stay with Apple for another 2 years.

Once again beating estimates that even up until the day they reported were increasing. This is a huge juggernaut of a company that executes well, is still innovative for it's size and has proven to be able to keep significant competitors at bay.

Antidotal evidence. In my unofficial survey of I5 users the results were not favorable to purchase an I6.
