Colleges are expanding
Recs
Growth in student population will always keep driving growth in this sector. GOOD-SECTOR.
Recs
No jobs out there; everybody stays in school.
Recs
P/E is crazy right now, but I went to college in a community with a few of ACC's complexes, and they are crazy nice. It's like resort living for college students. No matter how bad the economy gets, all of my friends can still find COLLEGE level jobs and afford the ridiculously cheap rent that includes everything. The one's I'm living in now are actually at capacity. I think this stock will continue to struggle short term, but this is a long term pick for me. This is the way college living is heading, I'm jumping on board now!
Recs
great tech signs
Recs
their is no pitch
Recs
I wish I would have gotten in this turkey before July 1.
Recs
I don't understand why this company isn't performing better. It specifies in student housing. Students are always going to need housing. Now with more people going back to school, ideally, this stock should be a safe real estate bet.
Recs
It's a REIT - it's OVERPRICED - PE is crazy - they are OVERLEVERAGED
Recs
Recs
Real estate is down and this will just keep on being down. It's an over leveraged company. Maybe after a year or so?
Recs
a winner for a long time to come. The debacle in housing credit, will force more people to rent, driving rent increases and prices for years to come. It's cyclical, like any previous housing booms/busts
Recs
Look out below.
- PEG of 14.6x, P/E of 122x among highest in industry
- Gross & Op margins in line; net margin is 1/3rd industry
- Revenue growth actually trails industry
- ROE <2%, ROA & ROI <1%
- below average interest coverage (non-problematic right now, though)
Recs
Student housing is not going to decrease, it not prone to subprime, dividend yield is good (almost 5%), and technically it is about to break out above that 15 month long $31 bar and going to go much higher.
Recs
These student housing projects are gorgeous. I don't see how students could NOT live in them.
Recs
When all the numbers look right, you don't argue, just get on board.
Recs
Student housing is a VERY HIGH GROWTH industry and this REIT is the best way to get in on the action.
Besides he growth, you get great dividends.
Recs
whether housing dips or peaks, college kids will rent near campus and enrollment is increasing.
Recs
The Light illuminating the entire environment has been extinguished, and all the men are going on like blind ones, looking for a point of orientation and support, getting cross at each other and embracing one another as at random.
