History will be made. New cancer drug finishing successful Phase III trials, hopefully will get FDA approval before end of 2008.
Low float, no gaps to fill, just successfully tested the 200 day moving average.
Recs
products pipeline and applications look very strong for future development and partnerships.

Just going with the herd, and I also want to get in before it becomes unratable...

Looks technically ready to rise with higher bottoms. Insider action supports the stock.

With orphan drug status and a new collaboration with scientists of the University of Bath in the UK, this company only has bullish outlooks for the future.

While there are many hurdles before FDA approval, the Leopard frog protein works against cancer cells without killing normal cells.

tests going well for possible cancer drugs

I am relatively new to this forum but of the biotech stocks I have been tracking under ($10) these guys have a few things going for them:
1) a product that is in phase III and that is showing some success, here and abroad - Causing a buzz
2) they have been working on this product since the late 90's, so they are a lot closer to a win than a lot of the others - A strong R & D team
3) Since they have been in the industry for a while (1998) my guess is that they have a pretty strong network of backers and supporters (Vanguard Group for one)- great possibility for buy-out or success with the product itself.
I bought them last week on CAPS recommendation and will see how things go. The stock history looks good since late 2006 (almost tripled over the last year so probably not a fluke thing) and am hoping for a good run up to Q3 and results from FDA testing later this year.
Just my .02c

Has novel and potential blockbuster drug candidate in phase III clinical trials
Recs
Alfacell Corp. is in phase I/II testing of ONCONASE, their newest drug and it has shown promise in pre-clinical evaluations to be good for treating cancerous illnesses. This is a cheap stock still but the potential for growth is huge.
Recs
they have the future of cancer detection and treatment

All the key buzzwords... plus it's cheap and can't go anywhere but up in the long run. I'd rather plunk down a chunk of change in this baby than gamble with it anywhere else. Plus you can write off your loss if that should occur... how nifty is that?

I think that the momentum in biotech will carry this stock up to $6 in the next month.

Greatest untold story in biotech. Will most likely be first RNAi product to market with many other applications to follow. Look towards anti-viral and cancer prophylactic.
Recs
Alfacell’s flagship product has enormous potential in several markets; these include: anti-cancer (meso, NSC lung, breast, esophageal, non-Hodgkin lymphoma), anti-viral (Dengue,HIV-1,Coxsackie), anti-autoimmune, anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory and others. Unlike most pharmaceutical companies, patent protection is available for many years (2013 –2020). NDA expected in the second half of 2007 with approval and product launch in early 2008. New INDs for anti-viral and another cancer indication expected in the second half of 2007. Off-label use will be huge. Directors have been buying the stock. Anticipation will drive the stock price.
