9% insider ownership, 67% institutional, over the last 6 months owners have sold down 8% of their holdings, not the greatest sign in my book. $24M cash on hand and $30M LT debt, a solid and manageable balance sheet. I'm concerned that the corporate governance quotient is so low. Its making money and currently is fairly valued, not an immediate growth play, definately a long term play.

Had a good earnings report and inexplicable lost 25%.

I think it will gain this back, particularly with the guy back program. now would be the time for them to execute, bumping the stock up. I am hoping to turn a quick buck.

Company is expanding product offering and new markets in Germany being
opened. Management strong and delivering.

They have great products and a possible takeover target, make this a great short to mid-term pick.

I don't understand the price performance as it relates to the earnings release. 25% off is the result of a good report??

I have used the product in my work and found it very functional and efficient, so how can bottom fishing here go too far wrong??

Look for this stock to be a Buyout AT $11 - $15 p/share. The IBM's, Oracles, Microsoft need this BIRT reporting software company for their programs. Actuate is the finest reporting software on the market today. Crystal-Business Objects are nothing compared to Actuate.
