I think it's best this way. I hope I'll get financial support by this.

Going with Tim Hanson's 11 O'Clock stock. A crumbling Euro has helped Adidas whose costs are Euros but sell in many currencies which are now better against the Euro.

Apparently Reebok's line of balance training shoes are also a growing market for the shoe maker.

The second largest sporting good consumer good company in the world, right behind Nike. Strong presence overseas, particularly in Europe and its sponsorship of soccer. It's Russian and Chinese segments are growing at 50% clips. In Russia, it has double the market share of any other competitor and it is the official sponsor of the Beijing Olympics this year which should boost its popularity in China. It's has grown its bottom line at 22.6% annually for the past five years compared to Nike's 16.2%. It has been pulling back its presence in the declining U.S. market (reduced inventory with its major retailer Foot Locker in 2007). Last year, 28% of its revenue came from the U.S. whereas 27% of Nike's revenue came from here. Very competitive with Nike in terms of overseas marketshare, but has an edge as it is not domestically based and is reducing its exposure to the U.S. market.

Honestly, I can't believe more people haven't rated this stock.

Adidas was at one time the apparel leader in many sports until NIKE came along. However, Adidas is still king when it comes to futbol in Europe, which is why they sponsor the World Cup.

With many 3rd world countries modernizing and gaining wealth, most countries which only play the world game of soccer, then Adidas will continue to have strong income.

Three-stripeys are to hit Eastern Europe.

E.g. in Moscow, where I live, a lot of RbK stores are to be opened forthcoming year; and the overall diversity between Adidas as more or less professional sportswear and RbK as primarily casualwear starts working. They're still behind Nike, but they are bound to outperform the market for sure.
