+ Watch ADTN
on My Watchlist
The Company develops and provides network access solutions for communications networks.
Their products seem to gaining traction and they are more cost conscious than their competition.
Beaten down by a miss on earnings expectations, Adtran looks cheap most ways you slice it. The communications equipment company is trading at cheap multiples, and can eclipse $30 if year-end EPS estimates hold.
Has been a strong performer and financials indicate that it should continue.
Recently had a break out. Good Numbers.
I think it will continue to go up untill most of the communications are built and it will level off while the p\e is scary and im about to switch to underperform I think that may be in the distant future not short term. Also I dont know how long until demand peaks for the services provided.
Well funded, good balance sheet, well placed in US Telco market with a smaller presence in the Tier 2/3 space.Could easily eat a smaller competitor more focused on this space and grow like gangbusters.
Broke out of range @ $25http://www.finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=adtn
While the ISDN products are slowly dying off, they aren't finished yet. And Adtran supplies other telecommunications products both to the end user and the phone company. If you're enrolled in any CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Assistant) courses, you will eventually face labs that require Adtran Atlas' equipment.I don't see this ending in the near future, as a lot of rural telephone companies still use ISDN and other related technologies for their consumer Internet Access.
Massive buy order due to stimulus package to increase broadband in rural areas. Citigroup recommendation just flipped over. Should see impressive gains in Q4.
Fortune 40 Small Wonders
I have followed ADTN for several years since it is a local company. It moves up and down for numerous reasons but always seems to rebound. My strategy is to buy in low 20's and sell in the high 20's.. I try to be patient when implementing my buy and sell strategy and not get tempted to be greedy.when the stock rises.
Hold or sell, EPS is lower this quarter.
Misses are behind us
