Retail is down, but this store is positioned well to rebound.

Younger siblings addicted to this brand. Tell me this is the "coolest company ever." Ask only for gift cards to this store. Relatively cheap for historical and industry averages.

Challenging comps & profit margins
Management lack experience in key brand
M&O concept nondescript & will continue to reduce profits
Too many new hires from the a select competition

Still doing weel in the downturn

These clothes are getting really old, they need to change their market approach before they can start making moves again, I am short until then.
Recs
time to buy - way undervalued

seems reasonable @ this price

Recession or no recession middle and upper class kids spend mommy and daddy's money on stuff like this. I'm concerned it will go down more before going up because it's retail, but it's time to jump on board.
Recs
Fundamentally great company. P/E of 12 is too low.
Recs
Nice growth/peg. Betting on retailer comeback.

Very cheap company, debt-free, good mgmt, but out-of-favor currently.

My old friend David would always shop at American Eagle, and he had far better taste than me. I always thought the clothes were too expensive, and now I am surprised to find that the stock is such a bargain! A strong profit margin, zero debt, and impressive growth make this one of my two favorite apparel retailers (the other is Aeropostale). AEO has 3 or 4 different types of stores that have been entering the market. I hope that their great track record leads to success in these new projects.

selling right at the 52 week low. extremely profitable. EPS and Rev growth are still good. not a lot of debt. still "in fashion" as far as i know. very good price for a potentially very rewarding investment.

MY kids and all their friends love this place. I see it as continuing their growth well into the next 5 years.

Might be a little early but I think it's time to start bottom fishing for some quality retailers. AEO is trading at 52 week low and seems to have some support around $20. Low P/E and recent insider buy.

Teen outfitter, more affordable clothes than Abercrombie, cooler than Gap. 4 business units targeted at different demographics.... 15-25 yo, 25-40 yo, internet sales and "dormwear". beat down so a good entry point. 12.2 PE giong into Christmas season.
Recs
Beaten down retailer that is attractive at these levels. Should be a long term winner; also pays out a nice dividend.
Recs
retail is oversold. trading at discount to it's historical pe. undervalued right now.
solid brand. still cool with the kids. looking to sell at $30 by Q1 08.
Recs
Magic formula stock with strong fundamentals and pessimistic holiday season priced in
