The current anti-IED gizmo is getting traction with the Marines. I'd figure that the Army's gonna be next.
We are going to want this thing on a lot of trucks in Iraq & Afghanistan.
This anti-IED gizmo - if successful - will make AERG a real company.
And they have a directed lightning (ray gun) device that could be even bigger

Company has a poor track record since inception and shares have dropped 50% in last 12 months, The senior management has poor track record prior to joining Ionatron and continue to follow their spend - spend - spend management style. Company continues to post losses on speculative technology. High probability government funding for these projects will not be renewed.

I bought 100 shares of this stock knowing it was speculative; never turned a profit; plus other negatives. Based on its forever negative track record, my only hope to recoup my investment is a buyout. I wish all of us IOTN stockholders a 2008 buyout!

This company is going out of business with barely any revenue to offset all the bleeding of cash that is going on.

IOTN is well position with the DOD in an industry which is about to overcome the 'Sci-Fi' stigma and move forward on a massive scale.

Has the backing of some solid hedge fund investors and an interesting technology. Balance sheet has them safe for the near future too. A lot of upside especially if TASR can continue to do well, could help pull IOTN

Very possibly the weapons of the future. Although with level of opacity to development it's risky

I clicked on this company cause they have an awesome name, and it turns out they make Ion Cannons or something! I've played Command and Conquer, I know not to mess with that.

If this company has developed new & improved technology, that can be proven to save more lives...Then the military has a moral and humane obligation to purchase and utilized it.

Short Squeeze in progress. These guys have won a number of large contracts. Just need one more big one or other positive news and stock will pop. Very likely considering momentum with recent big contracts. Could move up 20% overnight if they raise there 2007 outlook significantly.

The company allegedly has several government contracts that are top secret. This technology can also be used in The private sector as well. Once the company works out the kinks it should do very well.

This looks like a great company with some awesome new weapons designs. With the pres. recently increasing the military budget, this company should get new gvt. contracts to further develop their direct energy weapons. Non-lethal weapons are also being developed for law enforcement. Defense and protection are going to be HUGE, but the company has some kinks to work out. Look for this to underperform for a while. More of a long term investment.

Ionatron, Inc is a technology leader providing next generation defense solutions. The core product of the company is its Laser Induced Plasma Channel (LIPC) technology, which is developed jointly with the U.S government. The company also has its presence in electrical equipment products in defense, aerospace, semi-conductor and medical industries through its wholly owned subsidiary North Star power engineering. These are the only two revenue-generating segments of the company.

U.S. Army is the major client of the company as most of their products are classified. The company is expecting to commercialize some of its non-lethal technologies after getting requisite government approval.

Segment wise, 90% of revenue comes from the lasers induced technologies, and the rest from North Star. Net revenue for the nine-month period ended September 2006 registered a decrease of 32% owing to expiration of certain government contracts. Operating expense in the mean time, increased by 175% as research and development expense surged by 340%, leading to a deteriorated bottom line.

This technology can be used in directed energy weapons platform, which will replace ballistic technology platforms in the future, thus successfully transferring itselves from lab to battlefield. The direct energy weapons platform is relatively new and looks to grow substantially in the coming years. Infact, the first field equipments of LIPC technology are expected to roll out in the coming couple of quarters. With U.S army spending on modernization increasing and expected to reach $ 15 billion in 2007, the company’s prospects look bright. Commercialization, of non-lethal products, which is bound to happen sooner or later, is an added bonus. Encashing the above, the company stock may follow its sound fundamentals.
