As China continues to invest in Africa, a number of opportunities for African companies and foreign companies doing business in Africa will sprout. Such opportunities will blossom if African crony democracy will provide a business climate healthier than today's one.

Cheap ETF to invest in Africa.

Nigeria will be taking over as the largest economy in Africa as African economies grow and the world needs the raw materials available throughout Africa.

International exposure. Markets with a ton of room to grow. Have to navigate through the geographical stereotypes associated with Africa.

Africa is the true emerging market and the only market still truly underdeveloped. It has plenty of room to grow!

African economies are growing. There is a lot of potential in this next frontier market.

Very Africa!

Africa has incredibly high capacity for growth. Country Risks are generally going down, while Western equity risks have proven (2008) there is larger inherent risk.

Africa is diverse. Lumping it all into one part is like saying the Philippines and Kazhakstan are the same because they both happen to be in Asia. Living here, you get a sense of the diversity.
Things may not be bustling in the part of Africa where I'm at. But yet, you get the feeling SOMETHING good is happening. The leaders will not be from North Africa; they'll come from those rich in comodities and a stable government. Angola, Nigera, Senegal.
Greetings from East Africa.

For all of its troubles, Africa is bursting with promise--particularly the people of Africa. A chance now to get in early

The reality is, humans exploit areas of the world that make the most economic sense. The by-product of this is, it increases wages in those areas (in due time) along with consumption - making the population better off in terms of standard of living. Once wages rise to a level that is not economical (risk vs. reward) for multinational corporations, they will move onto the next area and repeat. This is what happened in Mexico, South-East Asia and China. Where do you think the next place will be?
My bet is Africa.
They have an exponentially growing population, vast resources and it is the most underdeveloped continent in the world. Nothern African countries will lead the way first due to their proximity to Europe/Asia/Middle East. In due time, this will spread to neighboring countries.
