News today about Antigenics. Approval in Russia for Oncophage for use in treatment of kidney cancer patients. This is a personalized vaccine made from the individual patient's tumor to prevent recurrence of the cancer. Very interesting.

They have applied for approval to market their drug in Russia. They are are also planning to seek approval to market in Europe, Canada, and Asia.

Antigenics cancer vaccine stands a modest chance of Russian and European approval, and even without approval, another Antigenics product, QS21, an adjunct to vaccines, improving the immune response, shows great promise, currently undergoing a promising
trial in Glaxo Smith Kline's Malaria vaccine.
Antigenics Oncophage vaccine, using a novel
approach of incubating individual tumor tissue with a propietary heat-protein, then reinjecting the resulting vaccine into the
individual from whom the tumor tissue was removed shows some promise in heretofore refractory malignancies such as Glioblastoma,
a highly aggressive brain tumor, and early metastatic Renal cancer. Even limited success
should prove rewarding to patient investors.

It's been diving down straight for the past 5 days. It's about time to reverse up for this Biotech stock. Good time to get in.
Recs
Successful brain cancer drug. Sales should carry it forward.
Recs
Consistent loss of shareholder equity, cash and assets since 2002.

Oncophage results announced today look promising. This stock will either crash (again), or shoot up based on continued results. Don't put any money in this one you can't afford to lose.
Recs
This company's burn rate is outrageously huge. They lost $75 million last year and $56 the year before. They recently had only $36 million in cash and $28 million in investments (significantly down from the year before). I do not think that this company will be around too much longer
