The commercial real estate market, while not as decimated as the residential real estate market, is having problems. AHR should have enough capital to ride through even after paying their normal dividends for 4th quarter of 08 but will more than… More

AHR's present dividend is unsustainable. It will likely be cut by half shortly. However it still makes it a very profitable investment over the short term, offering instant cash until its market value regains a good deal of the ground it lost over the past six months. One to keep for the long term.
