It appears to be trading at 50% of the value of land it owned in 2011. In Nov, they were by 734 Agriculture for the current price. residential land values increased by about 30% over the last year, but ALCO is down 20%. This is just a guess about long-term dividend potential.

Alico is the real estate buisness, in addition to raising cattle and sugar cane. It also has a 9,500 acre citrus grove. All told it manages 135,466 acres of land in five Florida counties. Alico is trading at less than $1,000 an acre.

There is a lot of value here, especially give the limited leverage.

i beleieve stock will go down for a few weeks while wait for late fruit in valencia harvesting i think valencia will have good price too
