High debt, and interest coverage of 0.3 means this is not unlikely to go bankrupt. In addition, they have negative earnings and I don't think they are going anywhere in the future except downwards. There is nothing to justify the bad fundamentals either.
Recs
not so sure about the company as much as the State is growing and people probably spend a lot of time indoors during the dark winters...more use of cable, phone & internet.

My target for Alaska Communicat is 139.37. I used my new method for determining a fair P/E (based on G and K). The growth factor was extracted from the PEG found on the web. K was 10%. I hope it works!

7.7% Div yield - company is investing laying lots of cable to open up Alaska and connect to the continental US. Super low PE, trading near a 52 week low, seems an excellent value play.

ACS will battle and emerge the winner against GCI
Recs
GCI's going to eat out their bottom line now that they've been moving customer's over to their own platform.
Recs
Great prospects for growth, good dividend and management has room to grow margins and I think they can.
Recs
This is the largest local telephone and cellular provider in Alaska. ACS owns about 80% of the landline phones in the state and has far and away the largest cellular presence in the state. They have solid cash flow and and have just turned positive on the earnings side after being set free from the venture capital outfit that financed their beginnings. Pays a nice dividend while you wait for more growth.
