Alcatel-Lucent is showing a lot of interest from many highly respectable value managers (Tradewinds, Pzena, Brandes). Hopefully this French-American combined company can ring out some cost savings & not continue to be the value trap it has been… More

The near term future of Alcatel is linked directly to its CEO: As long as Pat Russo remains as CEO, the stock (and company) will continue to languish. She has been a complete failure by anyone's measure and is rated at the top of Jim Cramer's CEO… More
