This company has a long history of anticipating the needs in the semiconductor industry. In the recovery it will perform very well.

AMAT's valuation relative to tech benchmark and INTC has never been lower. Also, this stock has run up prior to earnings reports on last 7/8 times, and fallen 6/8 so if you may want to dump before Feb earnings come out. By all indications, recent orders have been strong and Tech is positioned to bounce. By on the rumour, sell on the news on this one. Look to buy at about $11.75 and set a sell trigger at 10% premium... I normally don't buy stocks for short holding periods but I have to use history as an indicator on this one. After post-earnings report volatility is out of the way, rebuy this one long if the stock drops. My plan; may not work for you. Good luck.
