The company isn't making money and we really don't know when it is going to make money again.

AMD manufactures cpus and vga cards. The technology alone should be worth billions. I think Mubadala did a genius… More

too much debt for the equity to survive and too little sales volume for operating profits not to nose dive.

with the increasing demand for smart tech(e.g smart phones) the demand for micro deviceswill increase

I like their chips for video cards the best and see growth in the gaming segment.

Plus I consider AMD to be a generic and generic products sales improve in a poor economy.

I also was impressed by amd's decision to sub out manufacturing. Processors are becoming a commodity item, to leverage the AMD brand nameseems smart and requires less capital expenditures and keeps them nimble and allows focus on R&D and Marketing.
