+ Watch AMRC
on My Watchlist
President, CEO, and Chairman, George P. Sakellaris, just bought $2 million. They were automatic purchases as part of a June 7, 2013 plan, presumably with a limit order. I trust the CEO's mid-2013 opinion (not to mention it is probably legal to cancel plans) over a random Zacks analyst, since $2 million represents a significant increase.
Ameresco provides energy services that I believe will outperform as more energy is needed and sources or renewable energy as well as energy efficient facilities grow in number and value. They have been struggling lately but I think this is temporary. They have significant number of awarded projects that have not come into contract yet, and as a respected esco, they will continue to gain contracts at an increasing pace over the next five years.
As soon as congress gets out of the way AMRC will prove that its well positioned to offer the energy solutions the U.S. needs. International prospects are also great for this company.
RESTART, another I closed 2/13/14 thought they were all good the first time?!?
It seems that there is strong leadership , long future ahead for growth.
Based on historical trending of stock
Story looks good on paper, but nt playing out to reality. Back logs not cash backed yet. Will They happen? Possibly a good idea too soon...
With US becoming the #1 energy producer, AMRC will be in position to help develop the hidden energy reservoir of this resourceful land.
this stock is now fairly valued, down from high of 14, at this price is in a good position to grow and give good returns
AMRC continues to trade below book value ~$9.50. Recent consultancy acquisition and insider buying signal they a good L-T buy.
Positive on Energy right now with the mess in the Middle East, Africa, and South America. We need to develop our own resources in N. America, but we also need to do that more efficiently. AMRC is well positioned to take advantage of present and future global instability, and the price couldn't be better for a large company with plenty of cash and work waiting for them.
CONSERVATIVE MANAGEMENT WITH ENERGY EFFICIENCY IS WIN-WIN
This is an investment that will eventually grow and grow. It's tied to the purse strings of large companies and we'll have to wait until those purse strings open.
I gave this one the red thumb on Investor Beat yesterday.
Feels very washed out, abandoned by the market here. Latest evidence of that: the only large sell-side firm covering it just discontinued their entire renewable energy sector coverage.Been all promise and no execution since its IPO, but still has a large and growing backlog of business that can support dramatic sales/earnings growth if/when clients decide to get off the sidelines and start financing their projects.
with current energy needs this stock could go double in 2 years an then keep going.
MF's SA and I both like energy plays, ARMC is on the cut edge: good leadership, politically right, good for the environment, and built right along side of the companies that are profiting from their knowledge. I'm long and think that we all will be rewarded well into the future.jpmj4847
I think having Obama re-elected will help this company become much stronger in the next few years.
Their last quarter was weak and I expect the 4th quarter to be weak also. Don't look for much out of this company until next year. If it falls into the 8 range it is a buy.
Short term oversold due to fiscal cliff worries.
