the market in all is weak and the re-split option is everywhere !

Beaten hard by the Syno drama, but the technology and products have value. Possible buyout candidate at this price.

Company is rumored to be releasing news of resolution with Sinovel within the month as well as their restated financials for Q3 2010, Q4 2010, FY 2010, and Q1+Q2 2011 very soon. This should propel the stock significantly, as it's currently trading as if priced for bankruptcy.

Strange thing is I didn't add AMSC to my list. Been hacked.

I believe this company could be a buy out candidate because they have been beat up as of late. I believe that they have allowed themselves to be put in this position by a Chinese company and the real threat is that a Chinese company will buy them (acquire them for the patents and technology) that they have and move it to china in the same way Chinese companies did did with the rare earth industries

oversold

1. Lots of smart money bought above this level.
2. Wind Turbine business is growing and going larger. AMSC technology has been already proven with SeaTitan.
3. The Switch purchase will open access to other vendors.
4. The Switch purchase will build synergy giving turbine makers cheaper access to components to compete against other alternatives.

Sinovel will pay up and HTS wire sales will grow.

the 70% drop because of its main costomer is over done

Cancellation of one large order by chinese co caused 50 percent dropp.

insider roster actions, cash position, and non-wind grid business.

Chinese and U.S. smart grid getting under way.

American Superconductor is over sold by a reactionary market. I am buying at this price and expect the stock to trading around 20 by years end.

I think this one is a good price at these levels. IT dropped way to much inlight of the inventory issues. Still a good company that will be profitable over the coming years.

Technical Bounce Likely

The company was rocked after its main supplier rejected shipments it was required to purchase under contract.

The company is in the sweet spot. Analysts expect this company to grow at 35% over the next five years. It looks like the company will have two bad quarters, during which time, it has a huge war chest of cash, to bide its time, after which it can resume growing.
