Both Schwab Equity Ratings and Market Edge Second Opinion show AMSF as a BUY and STRONG BUY respectively plus the CAPS rating and I like the P/E and industry. The Russell 2000 listing is a nod as well. Just buying now, would like to have caught this earlier to take advantage of the earlier drop, oh well. I think it will perform very well .

I like this one. The company is carrying very little dept. It has a PEG=0.8. It is trading above its 200 day MA and the MA is trending up.

Amerisafe, Inc. been on my watch list for a while now. The insurance sector is really flying in the cheap lately and the profitability mixed in with steady growth is a value investors utopia.

I particularly like the industries this insurance company underwrites workman's comp for. Almost all of them are growing industries with growing businesses that have a growing need for worker's comp insurance. Say that three times fast.

With a multiple in the single digits, a solid management team, and very little debt this stock has the feel of an upward mover for many years to come.

Has an excellent track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly earnings expectations. As a workers compensation insurance provider, it is not exposed to the highly volatile extremes found in other types of insurance.
