Predominantly through the internet, a national branch network and relationships with independant registered investment advisors. The company offers touch-tone trading, trading over the internet, unlimited, streaming, free real-time quotes, extended trading hour, direct access and commitment on the speed of execution to its customers.

A good discount broker with a commanding position. Commissions reasonable plus all the bells and whistles an average or above average investor would ever need. I hope one of the major stockholders do not burn a witch at second base!

TD AMERITRADE Holding Corp. (Nasdaq:AMTD)
I'm sold from previous pitches, I like TD AMERITRADE because it provides technology-based financial services and securities brokerage services though its subsidiaries in the United States.
I also like that the company provides common and preferred stocks, exchange-traded funds, option trades, mutual funds, fixed income, margin lending, and cash management services.

THIS IS GOING MY WATCH LIST. IF THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPNAY CAN AFFORD TO BUY THE CUBS/WRIGLEY FIELD/25% OF THE NETWORK RIGHT THEY MUST BE DOING SOMETING RIGHT.
THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK I SEE IS THIS-with retail brokerage representing the vast majority of its business. RETAIL IS GOING TO SUFFER HUGE IN 09-WATCH ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that people are saving again, they need a place to keep their cash... With the discount prices on Wall St., methinks Ameritrade will prosper (Plus having TD Waterhouse to do their taxes won't hurt either).

As the boss money managers like Merrill Lynch have fallen from grace, more people will be managing their own investment portfolios going forward. This fine, profitable operation has gotten thrown in the trash bin with all the other financial stocks. Could go lower, sure, but you can't go too wrong buying this at $12.

all this volume is good for them.
