Great company with outstanding business model
Recs
Disrupter across multiple industries. Apparently analysts don't like how much their investing in growth. Their competitors like it even less. Poking the bear (apple) and bullying the kids (google) - there's a lot to like about how Amazon is positioning itself in the future.
Recs
This is a great company who has just come too far considering the state of the economy. Not to mention that they have all these great initiatives for the long run for internet dominance: low prices gaining market share, kindle which will lock in users to their e books. However, this is all going to take a hit in the short run so it's going to ride a down wave for a while until these initiatives gain traction.

Amazon has wiser up about electronic reader pricing and delivery

Internet superstore, good prices, good service, big user base

AMZN at 215 today 11-Nov-11 should hit 240 in two weeks. Sell it then.
Recs
Investing for incredible future growth. High multiple now, but margins will increase as company backs off the infrastructure spending.
Recs
Amazon (AMZN) is a staple of the internet community. Where Facebook and Google are flourishing, Amazon is beginning to reach out and take business away. Likewise, the new Prime service forces away Netflix users and the Kindle Fire is some competition to the iPad.
Recs
It is sad to see bookstores dropping like flies, but the innovations of this company will sail it into the future.
Recs
The holidays will be a perfect time for the Kindle Fire to ignite. People who want a tablet but not the sticker shock of an iPad will most likely choose the Fire over any other ones out there.
Recs
Amazon will continue to lead the online retail market and is now competing in the online media market.

Amazon, to me, is the second best stock that I know of. People with access to the internet, and people who buy stuff of the internet is rapidly growing just like all technology. Add that to the new kindle family, and you've got yourself not only a fall back for the company, but an optimistic future. Currently technology is our future. It may seem slow to be replacing oil and other things we rely on, but trust me it's not. And Amazon is no exception for a new era in how we do things. I'm not going to go out of my way to a music store to buy my synthesizer when i could get it fast and for cheaper on amazon. I'd bet a good bit of money that not too long from now, Amazon's going to be riding its higher and higher on the fortune 500 list. One last thing. Ebay. True competition, and one of the main reasons why it's not my first choice stock. Good luck Amazon

Excellent sales, no earnings....favorite company, worst stock
Recs
The Kindle will light a Fire.
Recs
This company is doing what a good company should: keep your eyes on the long ball, not immediate quarterly results that the punditocracy are pounding the table about.
Recs
This stock has just taken a major hit! However, this company was not born yesterday. I see a possible jump in the near future. Everyone shops this company around Christmas. And with eBay recently upping their ad fees, more people are checking out AMZN a little more seriously.

Overvalued

after drop, this will return back to normal growth.
