COAL TOP SECTOR
Recs
Part of the largely ignored energy sector is the increased value of coal and coal producers. This is one of several stocks I have selected in that sector. I feel the oil companies have already seen their significant growth and will only have moderate gains in the near term. This stock is one of several which has seen significant increases in the past few months and should continue to rise.

Coal is a necessary resource for many industries and this company is stable.
Recs
Coal is in great demand but the lofty price of this stock will probably lead me to sell soon.

Coal is up !
Recs
Coal has no where to go but up, a large majority of electricity is generated via coal and the emerging market's demand keeps increasing.

On a strictly technical basis, my magic charts say this will outperform the S&P
Recs
Coal, under appreciated but needed, especially in steelmaking. Young company on the make.

This stock may work short-term for those trading on a temp. coal comeback, but a better play would be Fording. The long term trend is down on this stock because it has a poor and inconsistent earnings history. It is currently trading at a very high PE of 42 vs. 2007 expected eps! It's expected '08 eps is less than '06 eps.

The best Value in Energy
Recs
Great P/E for the Coal Sector. The NY Times reported on May 29 2007 that Coal is now in line to receive huge government subsidies and is being touted as lessening U.S. dependence of foreign oil. I look for the whole sector to beat the S&P.
