Alpine Total Dynamic Dividend Fund (AOD)
diversified, closed-end management investment comp
Recs
Premium to NAV
Recs
This closed end is trading at a 20%+ premium. Assets cannot sustain current dividend. Once dividend cut significantly, watch price fall (again).
Recs
With a divy like that, who really is concerned about the share price. Buy it, drip it and keep your eyes out for divy cuts.
Recs
The dividend is great and its a low cost fund.

AOD is just one of the gems for high divy payout.. Have had this stock since March and I like the communication with front office.
Although not much data is available on the company via the web, the people who answer the phone are quite helpful.
My buildup of AOD will continue with careful analysis. This newbie since 2007 has not reached it's peak and should produce a reliable income throughout March 2010.
Seems the stock gets cheaper around the divy ex date than builds from that point. These drops make for perfect purchase opportunities.
I'm very bullish on this stock. Of course this is just my opinion.

How can I not like this high monthly dividend payer? I love it...for now
Recs
nice monthly dividend

Recs
smart managers, good return, still below 52 week high with more room to grow, solid monthly dividends, with just announced three in a row monthly dividend payout schedule.
this ones a keeper...

AOD has a great track record of doing their best to provide returns to investors without any of the hedging/levergaing that get other funds in trouble.
Recs
Good dividend paying stock, especially at these single digit prices. With dividen reinvestment, this baby should just snowball into a lovely wad of ca$h money.
Recs
AOD is a good buy for the dividend now at .12c/ share, need at least 2000 shares @ $7.15 expect to see double digits

Let's see if this baby can hold its 20% yield.

Like the dividend and buying when it is still low.
Recs
free paychecks every month??
I hope this is safe... Or is it risky...
Recs
No leverage, focuses on quality companies with long stable dividend history and/or rising dividends, generous, tax-managed distribution
Recs
another closed end fund that has been creamed by redemptions, while underlying assets look good...market price will trend back to NAV as efficiency returns and fear subsides.
