This stock is one of the leaders in natural gas production in the United States and abroad. I expect natural gas to thrive in the upcoming environment because alternative energy cannot replace fossil fuels in the near term. Natural gas is the cleanest fossil fuel and will be seen as the environmentally friendly carbon based fuel. As I write this, APC is selling for 9 times earnings and 1.2X book. It has lots of cash on hand, which means it is financially sound. According to Jon Markman, the cost of credit swaps on its debt has decreased significantly in the past few weeks. He thinks this improvement in the company's credit is a leading indicator for its stock price.

Were gas dependent, they are innovative, and leading the industry in the Rocky Mountain Area in extraction. I see nothing but good things coming from this company in the future.
