Though unprofitable to date this High Tech "Bio" Growth stock has enormous potential. Proven and unparalleled in the Muti-Billion dollar anti-counterfeit/theft space. Its recent uplisting to NASDAQ should help make it a household name in the not too… More

Well, this certainly doesn’t give me much comfort: “We are a Delaware corporation, which was initially formed in 1983 under the laws of the State of Florida as Datalink Systems, Inc. In 1998, we reincorporated in Nevada, and in 2002, we changed our… More

Well, this certainly doesn’t give me much comfort:

“We are a Delaware corporation, which was initially formed in 1983 under the laws of the State of Florida as Datalink Systems, Inc. In 1998, we reincorporated in Nevada, and in 2002, we changed our name to our current name, Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. In December 2008, we reincorporated from Nevada to the State of Delaware.
In November 2005, our corporate headquarters were relocated from Los Angeles, California to the Long Island High Technology Incubator at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, where we established laboratories for the manufacture of DNA markers and product prototypes, and DNA authentication. The address of our corporate headquarters is 50 Health Sciences Drive, Stony Brook, New York 11790, and our telephone number is (631) 240-8800. We maintain a website at www.adnas.com where general information about us is available.”

Nor am I incredibly thrilled with old habits such as this:

“All warrant, option, share and per share information in this report gives retroactive effect to a one-for-60 reverse stock split that was effective on October 29, 2014.”

It looks like that share balance has been worked back up to a pretty sizeable 26.4MM shares. Maybe that doesn’t seem like a giant amount but consider they had 10.7MM shares back in 2012. I also cannot find where they were ever profitable on an annual basis in the past 5 years. This company seems like its stuck in a rut. Maybe there is a way for them to find a way out, but I am not seeing it. Basically, flat sales on what to me looks like a very old technology. If you cannot make money in this many years on a technology that looks to be from the early 2000’s at this juncture, I don’t see where you’ll ever be able to pull it off. Patents look like they’ll begin expiring in a short few years:

“We believe that our 41 patents, 83 patent applications, 37 registered trademarks, and 8 trademark applications, and our trade secrets, copyrights and other intellectual property rights are important assets for us. Our patents will expire at various times between 2021 and 2032.”

Very small revenue, big GAAP losses, and high expenses do not a good combination make. They burn between $10-12MM a year in cash. With a limited amount of cash remaining ($4.6MM), I expect shareholders will be diluted again here shortly. I see absolutely nothing of value in this offering, but maybe I am missing something.

Laughable actually. Been long, 8 years now. Accumulated way too much of this crap, and am now concerned with this self-managed mixed shelf. Joining on here for others insights.
Awaiting the DLA to make the move to expand to at least five Federal Stock Groups by June. We've jumped through all the development hoops. IMHO. And this has humbled me.
