I've had APU in my IRA for some time now, good dividends and increasing sales make this one a keeper. With the economy like it is I think people are going to spending more time at home this summer....using APU propane for the grill.

Stock price is not moving yet, they have decreased consumers limits on orders of propane to 200 gal per delivery with the high oil prices, consumers are not loading their tanks to full, it would cost over 900.00. With this, their deliveries have decreased and consumers get in on the fixed rate for delivery's and buy 200 gallons at a time when their tanks get low. Also more consumers have used alternate heating such as the wood furnaces in rural areas, and wood stoves are fired up again. I expect their price of propane to go up around June when they send out their forms to pick what plan you want, and the prices of the plans should be alot higher than this past year. The stock should go up between late September and November as filling up tanks starts.

propane prices on down trend and summer grill season is upon us, both should help earnings. Also, attractive yield, with low P/E should draw more investors as a value/income play for what appears to be a choppy market for at least another 9-12 mos

solid company, essential low co2 energy source

They sell propane and winters getting close. The cool temps have caused us "country folk" to start topping off the propane tanks. Maybe I can reclaim some of my heating cost's with stock earnings!

APU is the largest domestic propane firm in the U.S. It is increasing its dividend and expanding its business base through aquisition (really the only way in this business). As boomer investors increase, the good APU dividend (over 6%) will attract interest and grow the cash value.

Great dividend (7%). Plus, stock is constantly moving up.

The stock is at a high point with winter here, and gas prices the same.the returns paid are fair 7% but no more growth.

This stock is included in the Morningstar "Dividend Portfolio," which I use as my core stock group. I highly suggest anyone interested in dividend income take a look at this group.
