No debt. Plenty of cash. Earnings are growing astronomically.

Art Technology Group is one of those companies that is well regarded by its customers as an e-commerce specialist helping global brands establish their online businesses, but just can't turn the corner financially yet. However, that may soon change.

It's new app that it created for the iPhone/iPod Touch in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger is receiving rave reviews. Here are just some of the highlights:

If you are in a brick-and-morter store and can't find your size, you can check Hilfiger's online store and make a purchase. If you are shopping from a computer and cannot finish a transaction your shopping cart will be saved to your iPhone or iPod Touch. And if an item is out of stock you can receive immediate alerts on your phone or touch whenver the item is back in stock. This is all in addition to efficiently being able to explore products and prices, sizes and styles with zoom capabilities. As ARTG gains more collaborations with other retailers looking to get mobile, they will be tapping a new area of growth.

On the flip side, low insider owenership concerns me and it is still trying to gain some positive momentum on the income statement (they have flip-flopped positive and negative net income over the past three years), but ARTG is definitely a cutting-edge player in the e-commerce space and is possibly poised to take a leadership position in creating a robust and user-friendly mobile e-commerce platform.
