I like this play for a strong mid-cap with lots of room for growth. Buying on the recent earnings miss and lowered forward guidance.

Great Products, momentum will pick up in 2012 continuing to next couple of years

The Avenda buy is small enough that financial details of the deal weren't disclosed. But it could be a game-changer in the long term as Aruba saddles up to ride the iPhone like never before. Aruba shares may look expensive at 39 times trailing earnings, but the growth runway in front of it looks clear for takeoff.

Personally work with their equipment and its great. The most feature rich solution on the market!!!

Until their results show that the growth is sustainable and not a one time fluke, it's still a negative company. Not to mention overpriced.

This company has the best products and best integrated systems in the networking space. When companies start looking for secure, reliable wireless networking instead of cheap wireless networking, Aruba will be the answer.

Major companies believe in Aruba's technology and are using it now.

Aruba continue to gain market share in a growing mobility market. They are employing the old Cisco model of growing the business and beating revenue and earnings targets every quarter. Buyout candidate in mid 2011 when stock hits mid twenties and CEO puts them in play.

I bought 100 shares @ $9.42 bout 20 days ago, so i'm behind by less than 10% of my overall investment. Leader in wireless technology and only getting stronger. Extra plus that they are the preferred 'gp-to' wireless corporation of the government n should see tremendous strides from the stimulus dollars moving forward into next year. I predict this company merges or is bought out b4 3Q next year.

technology is only going to advance. this is a no-brainer. i like the company not only for product and good management, but that few institutions (if any) own it. security is vital to the protection of ones intellectual property and privacy, ARUN is the play for the next five years. Many companies are implementing ARUN's enterprise network as it's one of the best wireless services on the market. However, a lackluster economy may hinder ARUN's future growth potential. I owned it at $2.00 and sold at $9 and look to buy it again on a pull-back. This is a great company and a potential take-over target.

Aruba Networks (ARUN) has proven wireless technology that has high security and automatically adjusts for bandwidth optimization. Healthcare and educational institutions are bringing on ARUN due to both security and bandwidth features of ARUN's products.
IBM, among other consulting and infrastructure companies, approves of Aruba products and have implemented them. IBM is a major player in infrastructure consulting and management.
Aruba has a preliminary win against Motorola (who filed a patent suit against Aruba). Motorola will most likely lose 70% to 100% of claims it holds under a patent. In turn, after the US Patent Office released its preliminary finding for Aruba, Aruba brought claim against Motorola for patent infringement (case to begin 1/10/2010).
With the continued growth of Wireless networks and wireless tracking within distribution centers, Aruba should be provided a good playing field to grow in. Aruba's product placements increased 35% in Q2 2009; that means annuity income for licenses, services, upgrades etc. will flow in.
Recs
ARUN is a leader in wireless technology and has a unique benefit of being a preferred provider to the US government. The economic stimulus package will generate even higher demand for wireless technologies like the ones that ARUN holds patents on.
