Another financial valuemoney added. S&P credit rating BBB+. A little on the caution side with this equity. I went with it anyway because all of the insider buying on 1/11/10. Bought at $11.15. A common theme with these financials valuemoney is picking up. Huge underperformance in a 2Y time frame BUT strong credit ratings and something that makes me feel more confident, insider buying. It is my belief that is why many got on the PTVB bandwagon. Although their credit rating isn't as high as these others.

Following JakilatheHun. I think the risk of owning Associated Banc-Corp decreased substantially after the company completed its $500 million share offering earlier this month at $11.15 per share. The future is cloudy for this bank but the price is right at approximately 0.67 times book value after taking the new share issuance and related proceeds into account. I am encouraged by the fact that the yield curve is still very steep and this fact should augur well for bank earnings in general.
