I have nothing new to add, I agree with the smart people.

New contract with DHL will support ATSG for the near future. Company is run tight with no frills.

Bought at .17 and sold at .35.....DOH. This stock is doing extremely well. They shed DHL and are now leasing existing assets to other companies and maybe even DHL. Not sure where the top is but my fool pick to outperform a year or so ago was at 4.40. I think it's on its way back up in that ballpark.

I'd like to think it won't fall more, I'd like to.
Someone (GOV) will bail them out soon enough.

It's actually a toss-up. Optimist vs. Pessimist thing. Optimistically speaking, DHL recommits to the US market and ABXA gets swept along with this 80% customer to new highs through better, more efficient operation in USA. Pessimistically, they could be sold to FedEx or close all together if the US market remains sluggish and DHL pulls out.

Call me crazy, but I need more airlines stocks. The Oil bubble will burst and when it does, expect a nice move from all of these dogs. Check out recent inside buys from the CEO and CFO. These guys no more than any of us and they think the stock is a bargain. You can buy at half the price of Mohnish Pabrai. What's not to love. Run scared if you want, but I'm digging in. This is almost too good to be true.

Good support.

NOT SURE ON THIS RUMOR HAS IT DHL WILL BE TAKING OVER THE ABX HUB IN TEXAS

Dhl has made it clear it is not pulling out of the US market, has put a 5 year contract offer on the table for its drivers and is rumored to be turning the ship around in profits. ABX AIR can only follow and will.

as it is trading below book value...how much cheaper can it get? Alot of uncertainty surrounding this and DHL, but the agreements are good for some time. Additionally, these guys are DHL's best performing partner right now. Worst case scenario is DHL will downsize a bit and ABX loses some business. They are actively expanding the business and this should be good for future growth.

I seldom am so bullish -- somewhere in the next 2 months - and it could be tomorrow -- this will be bought out by DHL backed company. Tiff between DHL and ABXA caused the stock to drop to 4. Dhl was mad that ABXA did not accept the 7.75 takeover bid when MS said it was worth 9 to 10. Now the stock is at 5. Will be a 50% gain easy! Downside is only what DHL can do as the largest customer to pressure ABXA into selling.

Currently trading at a discount to "liquidation value", due to their ability to "put back" a good portion of their equipment to DHL at mkt. or book...whichever is higher. They are cash flow positive, and after backing out growth capex, ABXA generates tons of free cash flow.
Stock has been recently hammered due to a dispute with their primary (pretty much only) client DHL (which currently represents 90% of their revenue), over 8m in costs, etc. Bottom line is at today's prices, shares have very little downside...and a likely intrinsic value of roughly 2x-3x today's quote.

Working in ABXA's favor: 1 - online shopping = shipping, 2 - decline in oil prices as new supplies are built out and Iraq stabilizes, 3 - mgmt focus on new contracts to reduce reliance on DHL
