Call of Duty , Huge Pre-Sales, Christmas Season.
You got Starcraft 2 which will be a monster, and Diablo 3 Next Year.

Blockbuster new game being launched next week and more to come shortly. Company is better positioned than competitors to leverage recent technology investments.

I own some ATVI and even though there has been a recent dip, I still believe this is a great company with good management and even better brands.

Games games games and more games. Stock is almost becoming over sold and cash position says the price is starting to look cheap. Worth some research just so somebody can tell me what I don't see. I'm getting old,so their is a 100% chance I could have missed something.

Priced too low along with a great stable of games not to succeed as soon as the economy moves ahead.

If you are an avid gamer, take a look at your library and tell me there aren't at least 3 games by ATVI or one of its subsidiaries in there. Just look. I dare you.

Call of Duty & Guitar Hero will do okay this xmas season. I see a short term profit opportunity thru the xmas season then a drop to new lows during 1st & 2nd Qtr 2010. Depending on the economy and any new games releases, it could then be another buying opportunity on the lows for the 2010 xmas season.

Activisions acquisition of the cash cow Blizzard games.
Churning out titles such as Guitar Hero and Call of Duty. I'm a former Warcraft player and I've seen how addicting the game can be, millions of players are more than willing to pay the $15/mo subscription and grab every expansion as soon as it's released

Good value play at current price, sound management and strong product line it seems. Should go up from here in a year or so!

Once Starcraft II and Diablo III come out, which should be relatively close together, this stock is going to double easily. I don't think people realize the fan base these games have, I personally intend on buying a new computer just to play them on.

A few things here. This stock is hugely undervalued. One of its larger products World of Warcraft is about to release it's 4th expansion. There will be a sharp increase in subscriptions and an additional 49.95 (cost of expansion?) for each of its existing subscriptions. Also new versions of the very popular Star Craft and Diablo games are due out soon. This company is gonna be a cash cow.

It's got a good pipe line of hit's about to hit the market

At this price Activision is a steal. I don't believe it will go down much lower. This is an easy 10-20 percenter in six months.

Jim Cramer does not like game stocks because he does not understand them. This stock is as cheap as it's going to be for awhile. In 12 days COD Modern warfare is coming out. The $150 prestige edition for this is pre sold out online. They are expecting 12million sold by years end(only 2 months). Next year starcraft 2 and maybe diablo 3...golden tickets. 10-15 million people pay $15 or more a month for Warcraft and sometime in the future there is some secret MMO coming out. Throw a bull at Cramer while yelling "buy buy buy!"

An analyst downgrade sent this stock down 4% today. Possibly he or she does not have children. I pay for two monthly WOW (World of Warcraft) accounts; one admittedly for myself and the other for my son. One WOW character transfer costs $30. I spent $120 within the last two months on these transfers; that is not money spent on new software - just four character transfers. My son eagerly awaits each new title to be released from Activision-Blizzard. An earnings surprise next month will more than likely surprise this analyst.

We all know they have great games coming out this winter for Christmas, but thats not why I support this company. Its their ability to continue to innovate and make better games. COD is taking over serious market share from Halo. I dont ever see them taking over the sports gaming (EA), but they have a firm grasp on RPG and Action games.

This looks really oversold here. I think any positive news re holiday sales could send this back to the high 12's.
