Looking for holiday sales to improve price.

What's not to like? And the stock price is attractive, too. In at $11.55 for one year; target $15.00; will sell at $17.00 if reached. Also a good candidate for covered call down the road. One negative: CEO insider selling.

good games, and as we have seen the call of duty franchise is here to stay.

It's time to jump on the Modern Warfare bandwagon.

The gaming industry is so cyclical, and a lot of investors have been waiting for ATVI to come up with another hit on the scale of Guitar Hero now that that game has had its run. We have it with Modern Warfare and the certain sequels that will come out in the new couple years.

The online version will be a huge hit too.

Activion will steadily rise, acquire TakeTwo, and soar!

Holidays are comings and gaming is big.

550 million in 5 days.....are you kidding me.....I'm in.....

I think this will be a good play recovery or not.

WOW expansion, Diablo III Starcraft II A whole load of blockbusters coming soon!!

1) they dont just generate revenue from game sales, world of warcraft is the king of MMORPGs. and MMORPGs bring monthly subscription revenue.
2) CODMW2 is supposed to go down in history as the best-selling game of all time. other companies actaully delayed their releases so they wouldn't compete with CODMW2--basically their competitors gave up. this will be the most popular shooter for all of 2010.
3) starcraft 2, diablo 3 both due out in the next year or two. both will be best-sellers and possibly the greatest games that year for their respective genres.
4) there isn't much competition. EA is dead in everything except maybe sports games, but they can have it, activision doesn't care about sports games. taketwo only has the GTA franchise and civilization. and they're milking those for all they're worth.

basically, they will dominate the gaming market for the next few years.

All the good news about Modern Warfare 2 is already in the price (and despite this thumbs-down, I can't wait to play it), DJ Hero is apparently selling very poorly, and the mngt have been dumping stock again. I can't see what can take this stock higher from here.
