This company is driven by its loyal fan base and production of AAA titles. While there have been issues of innovation in titles such as Call of Duty and World of Warcraft they continue to drive sales with these titles while also building new exciting titles. The merger between Activision & Blizzard brought together two powerhouse companies each with their own stellar product lines.

Blizzard is currently rumored to be developing a new MMO currently being called Titan. Though this is far from confirmed, I believe Blizzard's track record (Starcraft, WoW, Diablo) gives investors reason to believe in their projects.

Activision is preparing for the release of a new Call of Duty for the Xbox One. This release will be the first Call of Duty to be released on the current generation of consoles. Gamers who have fallen off the Call of Duty franchise will be enticed to return due to improved product quality and removed console limitations which will lead to enhanced gameplay experience.

Financially the company is solid. They are currently sitting on roughly $4 billion in cash and have recently taken respectable levels of debt in 2013, potentially to fund new projects (speculating). Price to sales, book, and PE ratios have the company appearing overvalued but will return to respectable levels once these titles are released and sales improve. There could potentially be a pullback in the short term, but long term the company is solid.

Overall this company has been and will continue to be a buy.

Consistently delivers highly anticipated games. Very manageable debt. The creativity of the developers will continue to determine the return to investors.

They make excellent games, and seem to be able to continually make money off slightly older games, earning cumulatively more over time.

I know 5+ gamers that have spent over $80 on hearthstone in the last month. This is going to be candy crush x 2 as far as revenue is concerned with a margin that exceeds any of Activision/Blizzards other releases.

The most versatile of the gaming stocks with some of the most popular (and profitable) titles, this stock should continue to expand in the next 2-3 years. However, with the quickly changing shape of this industry year after year, ATVIs future will depend on its ability to adapt to the new trends and platforms that haven't even been thought of yet. A possible big winner even after its recent run, it will have to be reevaluated in 2 years to confirm its dominance.

As a long time player of the World of Warcraft franchise I can confirm that this is a company in the gaming industry that all gamers keep an eye on. Whether you're a more serious gamer or just a casual gamer like myself Activision provides something for everyone. It's true that subscriptions have declined since their peak a few years, but WoW alone still has nine million or so subscribers paying fifteen dollars every single month to access this content. And WoW, with its soon to be released final expansion, is just the beginning. Call of Duty has been an enormous hit with every single release since Modern Warfare years back, and looks to remain a strong driver of growth going forward. The only game to compete with Call of Duty? Halo, made by a company called Bungie. Now, both Bungie and Activision have teamed up for a new online experience called Destiny. A forward P/E of just over fourteen and a small dividend make this stock a solid buy.

You can't find a Playstation 4 anywhere in any store. ATVI is at the forefront for PS4. Until someone bigger gobbles them up. Hey FB, want some real games to play?
