Good long term pick. Problems in Nigeria and potential problems in Iran make alternate sources (however hard to reach) an absolute necessity.

This stock is cheap. It is a great value right now with gas being at a low price. Once oil increases in value this stock will be a big winner

Modified Greenblatt Screen. This screen is based on EBITD Margin (High) and ROE (High) and Forward PE (Low). Also threw in a positive estimated growth estimate requirement. 5 stars in CAPS. Earnings quality looks good. Let's do this.

Oil is important mmm-kay

Current rigs Booked up thru mid 2012 - New rigs comming on line in 2012 - Already booked till 2013 or longer at higher rates - New rigs ordered for 2013 and 2014 Completion dates - Looks like ATW will be very busy and profitable for at least the next 2 years and at the rate things are going I would not be supprizsed if the rigs being built in 2012 and 2013 will be fully booked for 1 to 2 years after their completion dates as well !!

Oil, offshore drilling. Every country in the world is looking for this service. With problems in the middle east, more people are looking for offshore drilling, in the Gulf, off Brazil and anywhere they can find ocean oil.

As Peter Lynch would say describe whatever the company does in just a simple sentence that even a 5 year old kid could understand itwe need oil, oil is far below surface and companies like ATW, DO, RIG, PRD drill it. Plus Good Balance Sheet, low debt, great cash, high growth PERFECT!

Small Cap 2 or 3 billion in the lucrative oil drilling business. They are
expanding from additions of new rigs. Seems like this has the potential to be a 10 bagger.
Recs
With the increased demand for oil in China, and India, and America's love affair with petroleum largely unabated despite rethoric to the contrary Atwood is well positioned
Recs
Lo P/E, strong earnings, low Gulf exposure
Recs
world demand for more oil will drive this stock
Recs
The world economy will keep on growing and will need energy... Plus the financials of this stock tickle me in all the right places.

Oil companies will need more clean-ups as it gets more difficult to get oil to North America.
