Using recent stock price collapse to initiate long recommendation on small cap AuthenTec. Debt free, busted IPO with roughly 35% of current market capitalization in cash. Stock represents fair/cheap value around $6.25 given signficant growth prospects in biometric fingerprint sensor market for those with 2-3 year time horizon.

Fingerprint security is catching on and AUTH has the best technology and is expanding use rapidly

Tomorrow's credit payments will be made with cellphones and AUTH will help make them safe...

AUTH is active in a market space that will be exploding in the future.

Company’s product has a unique and distinct competitive advantage over competition in an underdeveloped field, as a result the company should out grow most companies in S&P 500.

Security is alway in the back of people's minds. Fingerprint technology recognizes specific fingerprints more specifically your fingerprint. Pretty secure.

Fingerprint technology is the future.

Fingerprint authentication becoming popular on cell phones in Asia. This is a sign that it could be big in other areas in 1-2 yrs.

In the quest to find some of the most commonplace technologies/gadget devices of the near future, I have to put fingerprint security devices near the top of the list, and AUTH is the leader.

We've witnessed the incredible rise in personal computers (PCs and laptops), personal music players (iPod), personal navigation devices (Garmen), personal phones (cell phones).

Next could be security for all of these personal consumer items as well as the several more usages of fingerprint security (ATM machines, bank/credit cards, office building security and other entry door security, airport security, etc.)

I envision AUTH to have their logo subtly displayed on the exterior of many of these personal devices, in the same manner that the Intel logo is displayed on laptops and PCs, so the consumer "knows what's inside."

Fingerprint sensors next big move into pc and laptops. The company has shipped over 15 million sensors, which have Integrated into over 150 different models of laptops, desktops and pc peripherals, as well as over six million mobil phones.

Information security is critical and growing concern. Biometrics isn't the total answer, but it can play a role; AUTH is in great position to meet the growing demand.

big brother will track our every move

I believe good companies in the biometric identity business will do well in the near term. I am similarly bullish on ID.

Growing fast, making great deals with big name equipment makers.

This microcap was mentioned on the New Paradigm discussion board. They make fingerprint authentication devices that are installed in laptops to control access.

They show very rapid growth and are already transitioning to profitability. Looks very promising and it's worth putting some money into this one.
